A Serbian Master Calls and I Go!

Ugljesa Mileta is a modern master of iconography. He is from Serbia, but has spent the last five years painting  the interior of Holy Cross church in Yakima, Washington.
Recently he was in Eugene, Oregon to give Saint John the Wonderworker Orthodox church, advice on color and design.
While there, he saw some of my iconography--the ongoing icon mural project--and invited me up to visit him at Holy Cross church.
I go as a learner, a student, an empty cup wanting to be filled.
I leave tomorrow and will be at Holy Cross several days. I can't wait!
Hopefully, this will be the first of many visits.
